  • With over 100kms of coastline to explore from the calm waters of Geographe Bay next to Busselton with the famous Busselton Jetty showcasing wide sandy flat beaches.
  • Then travel towards Cape Naturaliste past Dunsborough to beautiful granite boulders creating hidden rocky coves which are often tree lined but so very close to the ocean as it’s north facing.
  • A fabulous place to watch a moon rising over the ocean is Meelup Beach.
  • Spring & Summer is Whale watching in season around Cape Naturaliste, near the lighthouse is part of the Cape To Cape tracks to enjoy over looking the coast. Sealions are often seen in the area as well, plus enjoy great fishing around this area from the beach.
  • Further down the west coast is a wee bit wilder with awesome surf breaks and some great 4 x 4 tracks.
  • Yallingup is famous for the natural lagoon pool, a great place for a moonlit swim or try the surfing on the many known breaks in the area or a swim. A great place to grab a bite at a local cafe or enjoy a picnic or bbq on the lawns overlooking the ocean.
  • Canal Rocks offer spectacular photo opportunities in calm & stormy weather plus a nice place for a swim to cool off.
  • Just down the coast is Wydaup with an amazing natural sea spa. Close by is a great viewing platforms over looking to sea if your not feeling to adventurous.
  • Moses Rock is near to the Meerakbee waterfall in the wetter months and offers easy beach access onto the west coast.
  • If keen on some 4x4ing take the beach track opposite Gralyn Cellars out to the coast and follow to carpark over looking the Willyabrup River mouth, great beach fishing and can pick up part of the Cape to Cape Track and good abseiling is in this area.
  • Cowaramup Bay is great for a swim and snorkel or a surf even fishing is another option, plus offers a nice look out.
  • Adventure with 4×4 tracks to Joeys Nose from Kilcarnup.
  • Ellensbrook Homestead offers access to the beach as well and beautiful old homestead to discover run by the National Trust with large grassy areas great for a picnic.
  • Prevelly & Gnarabup are the mouth of the actual Margaret River offers awesome surfing & kite surfing to watch or a sheltered bay at White Elephant Cafe our fav place for a bite to eat and coffee. Rosie’s Wrap with chicken to share & 2 x large coffees are our treat!
  • Redgate & Contos offer easy access off Caves Road.
  • Hamelin Bay offers wildlife interaction with local Stingrays in early morning.
  • Cosy Corner is sealed plus offers 4 x 4 tracks to explore as well.
  • Cape Leeuwin is where the 2 x oceans meet at the Lighthouse.
  • If your keen on boats drop into the Augusta Boat Harbour the beautiful granite was quarried from the same site.
  • Finally Flinders Bay at Augusta is a more sheltered bay where the whale watching happens in season, great fishing in the Blackwood River plus don’t forget the river cruise on the Blackwood River.
