Eco Beauty Tips - easy on your body and your pocket!

Berry Scrub -

1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt

Mash Strawberries and combine with yoghurt. Be sure to keep the amount if ingredients equal -
as the yoghurt balances the ph levels in your face.
Stawberries contain alpha-hydroxy acid, which helps slough off dead skin cells so that new
skin is revealed.

Chilly Cucumber Mask -

1/2 cucumber
1 teasoon eucalyptus oil

A great mask for your hands or feet! Simply blend cucumber with eucalytpus oil (so you don't lose any antioxdants within the cucumber). Leave in the refrigerator for half an hour and then apply directly to hands or feet.
Leave on for 5-10 minutes and then wash off with cool water.
So refreshing!

Beet-iful Cheek Stain -

1 beetroot
5 drops of water


Slice up the beetroot so some of the juice drains into a bowl, and then dilute the juice with a few drops oof water.
Stir, and apply with fingertips or a cotton bud. Set it with a light dusting of loose powder.

Soda Hair Soak -

3 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup water

This is a pre-shampoo rinse to get rid of product buildup.
Mix together, and when the baking soda starts to fizz, run it through your hair and leave it on until
the fizzing stops. Do not rinse it out, just add shampoo and wash as usual.

Creamy Hair Quencher

2 eggs
1/2 eggshell of olive oil
1 oz heavy creme
1/2 avocado
2 oz water (boiled and cooled)

Blend all contents together until creamy. Apply to hair sections and throughly work in with fingertips,
particulalrly on ends.
Leave on for 20 minutes and wash out normally with your regular shampoo and conditioner.

Olive Oil Tresses

1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 sheets of Saran wrap

Dampen your fingers in a bowl of olive oil.Work it through the top layers and ends of hair
(which tend to be dry).
Wrap to contain the heat or a hot towel and let it dry.
Leave on for about 10 minutes.
Apply shampoo todry hair before you jump into the shower, then introduce water to get a lather.
Rinse well.
You will have soft, gorgeous hair without spending a cent!

Sweet & Sour Skin Care -

1 banana
1 teaspoon honey
10 drops of lemon

Lemons and bananas are rich in vitamen C, which is great for the skin, and also has astringent
properties. After mixing, apply to face and leave on for about 5 minutes, the cleanse with
warm water and add moisturizer.
Your skin will feel smooth and supple.
